As Calvin Klein's experiential agency of record, Institute created an immersive, musically influenced program in Palm Springs to kick off the #mycalvins summer program. The objective: create a tentpole consumer-facing event to support a massive Coachella weekend.
Taking over an abandoned Sam’s Club, we assembled a DJ lineup of festival-caliber talent, drawing a crowd of 4,000+ attendees at the height of Coachella’s opening night. Dubbed the CK Desert Warehouse Sessions, the event was marked with performances by Alesso, Virgil Abloh, Guillaume Berg, and Eclair Fifi, as well as lighting design by Tobias Rylander. Lasting until well past 4AM, the live stream was hosted on CalvinKlein.com to an audience of millions.
