The Client

For the 2014 Video Music Awards, Beyonce would receive the highly anticipated Vanguard Award. Her 15 minute stage performance would be an homage to her career and namesake visual album released earlier that year.

The Process

Institute conceptualized, shot, composited, and stage designed the medley, which was lauded by some as the performance of her career. Every minute in the medley had a curated custom visual moment, lighting design, and stage choreography complete with custom outfits.
